2024 BC SUMMER GAMES

British Columbia Golf supports and participates in the BC Summer Games

DATES: July 18-21, Maple Ridge, BC, Host Course: Meadow Gardens.  The team will travel to Maple Ridge on July 17th, practice round July 18th, compete in a 36 hole individual gross stroke play and team net stroke play, July 19th and 20th and travel home July 21st.

PLAYER DETAILS: The Zone 2 Team will consist of 3 boys and 3 girls. Team members must be 12 – 16 years of age as of July 20th, 2024. As the Games are a development event, if you previously participated in the Summer Games as a golfer you are not eligible to participate again.
Players will need to pay the $275 Registration Fee but will be reimbursed by Zone 2. The registration fee covers accommodation and meals while at the Games. British Columbia Golf will be responsible for providing a coach for the Zone 2 Team and the Zone is responsible for supplying a chaperone. If the coach is male the chaperone will be female or vice versa.

QUALIFIER FOR THE ZONE 2 BC GAMES TEAM: The qualifier for theBC Games Team will be held in conjunction with the Zone 2 Junior Tour Kelowna Golf & Country Club event to be held, Sunday, May 5th. Zone 2 Junior Tour members who qualify by age, will be automatically entered in the qualifier and need not apply. Non-Junior Tour players who wish to qualify will be required to enter online and pay an entry fee of $52, which covers green fee, a meal and prizes.
